The Civil Partnership Chontachaca Ecological Reserve (REC) is an association of environmental, ecological and non-profit groups. The association was created in Peru with the aim of working for the defense and conservation of the Amazonian forest and all the beings that inhabit it. They are also implementing a rescue center for wild animals and therefore need eco-volunteers to help with activities relating to the management of this center including feeding, behaviour observations, maintenance, care and health of the animals, as well as activities relating to the possible reintroduction of animals back into the wild. Social work in the Chontachaca community is also a part of your position here as a volunteer. Basic Spanish knowledge is required.
