Cercopan Sanctuary
Cercopan Sanctuary is a non-profit, non-government organisation based in Cross River State, Nigeria, whose aim is to conserve Nigeria’s primates (guenons and mangabeys) through sustainable rainforest conservation, community partnerships, education, primate rehabilitation and research. They have established an international research and education centre for the study of non-human primates, biodiversity research, forest management and conservation in Cross River State’s tropical rainforest north of Calabar.
